| Coaching & Consulting Expectations
If you choose to work with me, I hope you
will find our relationship to be thought-provoking, challenging, and
valuable. I don’t require a contract. I want to earn your continued
business by being an asset and a resource – not by obligating you with a
written agreement.
What you should expect from me:
- Good preparation before meetings and
good follow-through after meetings
- Unlimited (within reason) phone and
email contact throughout the month
- To learn as much as possible about you
and your company
- Candor: open and honest information
and communication
- To challenge you and hold you
accountable for execution of plans
- To act as a “sounding board” for your
ideas, issues and challenges
- Confidentiality
- My best effort on your behalf
- Small rate increases every year or so
(Much better than a big one every few years. (Here’s my first advice for
you: Consider doing this with your customers, too.)
What I should expect from you:
- Candor: open and honest information
and communication
- Willingness to listen to new ideas and
approaches
- Good preparation before meetings and
good follow-through after meetings
- Implementation and execution of the
plans and ideas on which we agree
- Prompt payment of my invoices
